International Student‛s Advisory Room for Graduate School and College of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo, Komaba
This International Student‛s Advisory Room is a place to provide necessary support as a counseling counter for both undergraduate and graduate international students enrolled in the Komaba Campus at the University of Tokyo. The International Student‛s Advisory Room is staffed with dedicated faculty members who have been engaged in Japanese language education for international students and intercultural education for a long time. We provide support so that you can enjoy safe and fulfilling student life at the University of Tokyo while listening to the voices of international students and thinking together. At the Komaba I campus, there is a counseling office on the second floor of Building 101, a stone building with a long history, so international students can visit anytime on weekdays for counseling. Please feel free to stop by when you want to talk about something, or want to relax. Besides, the University of Tokyo has many student support departments and experts. Even if you don't know where to go, ask the counseling office. We will guide you through the appropriate department.

To all undergraduate international students
Welcome to the Komaba Campus of the University of Tokyo. Four years of life at the University of Tokyo begin in this Komaba. Under the same conditions as Japanese students, we are sure that you are excellent students since you will study at the University of Tokyo. However, since it is your first experience in college, you may feel anxious or have a lot of trouble. In this case, please visit the counseling office. During your transition to the later course, the counselor of the counseling office will be in charge of supporting your learning and life as your tutor. Please do not hesitate to visit the counseling office anytime.

Dear graduate students
Many of the graduate international students may have to spend a long time at Komaba, up to 10 years, if they go on to the master or doctoral program. In your long research life, there will be many difficulties you will face both in your life and research. In that case, please remember the International Student‛s Advisory Room. Together with the advisor, the counselor will help you as much as possible as your supporter.
