We recommend you to visit the Advisory Room!A word from senior international students
  • I often go to the Advisory Room. Even though I always asked for a scholarship application or letter of recommendation to the teacher just before the deadline, the teacher helped me somehow. When I was in my house in China, I was relieved to have an interview on the Internet. I felt that the teacher was always watching and taking care of me. Especially in the first year in Japan, you may feel difficulty because it is the first time in everything. If you have something not know well, be sure to consult with the teacher by email.

  • Since I was in the first year, I have often visited the Advisory Room. I went a lot in the evening, and the teacher always greeted me warmly. I think I was able to find my own answer by listening to my story when I was worried about my career path or when there was something I could not understand in my friendship. If there are international students who are hesitating whether to go to the Advisory Room or not, I would like you to visit once. I think that getting help from others is an important skill for living a fulfilling life at the University of Tokyo.
